Sniper strategy Sniper

This strategy works best on earthquake

The goal is to spam as many snipers as possible as soon as possible (in case the enemy rushes)

to do this you need to be a communist and start by building a bank

when you have 60 credits build an armory and let it produce money aswell

spend the next 60 credits 2 make a second armoury and let it produce recruits

at 50 credits upgrade your bank.

when you have 40 credits build an outpost and let the 1st armoury (remember) reproduce recruits just like the second armoury.

at 30 credits upgrade your outpost.

now if the enemy still isn't attacking then just wait a second because if they see your sniper army they most likely will start making snipers to.

whenever you feel like it's the time start making your snipers team.

when you think it's enough select all your snipers and let them retreat to the back so they will all alling then let them advance towards the enemy (most likely will have tanks) then when they all fired a shot at the enemy's units retreat them till they reloaded then advance them again and so on and so on.

the enemy will probably start attacking from this point on so make sure your teamate is reproducing hoover tanks to cover your snipers just in case. now when the enemy there units are down tell your friend to charge with all his tanks and make sure your snipers are safely behind them.

attack and own them, victory!

in my oppinion this strategy is the best there is on earthquake it's even better then hoover tanks (if used properly)

(p.s. this strategy gave me a 31 consecutive untill some hotkey novice made queens)

i like it ill test it out soon and it will surprise most ground sweepers as they stick to tank only

A good thing too, snipers shoot much fartehr any any ground unit in the game so far, So the snipers iwll be able to take out a few tnaks before the tnaks even get to shoot!

That's why you need to pull you snipers back everytime they fire

so that the tanks don't get the chanse to fire Very Happy

if you don't then they will all die in seconds Sad

This is seriously my fave strat of all time. In earthquake mode today(luckily I had a good partner even though I didn't need him), I literally owned everyone with snipers. 30 snipers just waiting in front of their base( but not attacking) Some got pissed off that once their units appeared they died. So they just left LOL. Anyway, this strategy got me 11 consecutive wins.

In my eyes the weakness of this strategy are hover tanks

they always kill half my sniper team

After I killed 3/4 of his team xD

You probably only would see this strategy in Earthquake, reason being phantoms would tear the hell out of a sniper pack.

Might I say that any pack of normal tanks given even the slightest head start, would rape this whole strategy to hell.

Is this proven? Because I just got done raping packs of hover tanks. The trick I use is kiting (yes you can add this to your dictionary.) Snipers have the best range out of any ground force. Period. This means they can kite the enemy units, mainly tanks. This works especially well because the sniper can run faster than a tank and therefore keep its distance while still firing. If I can draw a battlefield with text it'll look something like this.

A = pack of tanks
B = pack of snipers
G = Bases
X = shots fired

Battlefield:
G-----------------------------------------------G

Tanks against Snipers
G-AAA--------------------------------------BBB-G

Positioning to Kite
G-AAA---------------------BBB------------------G

Shots Fired, Enemy comes after Snipers
G----AAA-X--X-X--X--------BBB-----------------G

Snipers run away and fire some more
G-------------AAA-X---XX-X----------BBB-------G

About when you get back to the base, tanks are dead
G-------------------------------------------BBB-G

Now as you can see the only trick here is to leave yourself room to run back to your base and keep your distance while engaging in combat so you don't take fire. Always keep an eye on the enemy. If you see them moving their tanks get your snipers out of your base and get the room you'll need to kite. Once you have 20-30 snipers, or some other good amount to 1-hit kill hover tanks, just get that prime camping position.

When you're attack the enemy base - IMPORTANT. Kite the base. This may seem silly because the base doesn't move right? But when your snipers are taking out the base they are in range of tanks, and all it takes is a well timed tank spam to destroy your sniper army. So once your snipers fire on the base retreat out of range again until their guns cooldown for the next volley.

Hope this helps any of you bastards cheap enough to use this strategy.

PS: I don't know how to make videos or I'd make one to describe kiting.

I've found a way to make more snipers

but this takes more time so only use it when the enemy isn't rushing

-be capitalist

-build a bank
-build armoury set it to money
-build armoury set it to recruits
-build armoury set it to recruits
-at around 70 destruct the bank and replace it with an outpost
-upgrade outpost

-make your sniper army

when you have more money then recruits let your money armoury make recruits aswell
